Expanding Connectivity Beyond Traditional Radio Solutions

Over the years, we have made it our mission to go above and beyond for our clients. Our mission has helped us broaden our services to cater for customers in remote areas, working with radio or single-base connections. In a recent example, we helped SmartX to broadcast the corrections from their base stations on site over the internet.Design Comes First

This has helped them gain substantial advantages:

  • The increased bandwidth, enabled by the internet, allows for more satellite information to be sent to the rover. This includes more satellite constellations and more frequencies from each satellite which can be included in the correction messages.

  • Having an internet connection also overcomes the radio black-spots on site, such as near buildings or beyond hills.

  • It also gives the ability to broadcast multiple correction messages (RTCM and CMR) at the same time so you can choose which one works best for your equipment.

  • No more expensive radio licenses and fees.

With SmartX, clients in Northern Territory can gain access to corrections over the internet where there is limited coverage provided by AUSCORS.
Each mountpoint we provide also comes with 10 connections, allowing multiple rovers and machines to easily connect to a single base station.
